Hi, I’m JimBob. I am a big tomcat and I think I have lived on the street most of my life. I started hanging around a Seal Beach yard and the people who lived there were worried that I would be snatched by a coyote so they brought me to SBACC. I was sent to the vet to get checked out we found I am FIV+ probably due to my tomcat past on the street. Don’t worry, it is strictly a feline condition and despite what many people think, cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives. They are even fine to live with non-FIV+ cats as long as they are not aggressive! Go ahead and ask my friends at SBACC about this condition or check it out on https://bestfriends.org/resources/cats/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-information. I am a friendly boy who enjoys petting and belly rubs. I am ready to give up my tomcat past on the street for a forever home where I will be safe and loved.
