Hi, I’m Dahlia. I arrived at SBACC when I was about 7 weeks old and in really bad shape with a broken front leg and an eye ulcer. I was immediately sent to the vet and then to the veterinary specialist where my leg was put in a cast and I was sentenced to cage rest for weeks and weeks so my leg could heal. I spent 2 weeks in a foster home once I was off cage rest and got to meet lots of other kittens. At first I hissed and growled and swatted at them but I soon realized they were playmates and I quickly learned playing with other kittens was fun. I might be a little shy when I first meet you but it doesn’t take me long to warm up. I enjoy being held and petted and sometimes will even sit in a lap if I am worn out from playing. I am finally ready for my forever home and hope to have another kitten or cat for a playmate.
