Hi, I’m Opal. My three siblings and I were rescued from a Seal Beach golf course when we were just three weeks old. We were in pretty good shape so our Mama must have taken care of us for our first few weeks on earth. Could be she was grabbed by a coyote when she was out looking for food. We will never know. We were brought to SBACC and then went to a foster home where we were bottle fed until we were big enough to eat on our own. My foster Mom says I am one of the happiest, sweetest and most affectionate kittens that she has ever fostered. I run to her whenever she comes into the room and my favorite place is in her lap, or stretched out on her legs. I love to explore, am very curious, and adjust to new situations easily. I may be initially a little shy but it doesn’t take me long to feel safe and start playing and exploring. I got along very well with the older cats in my foster home. I love to be with my siblings but have no trouble being on my own. You may find me sleeping in a quiet corner with my favorite blanket. I am now ready for my forever home and would love to have a sibling or another kitten join me. That’s me on the left, my sister Olivia in the middle and my brother Ollie on the right in one of the pics.
