Hi, I am U-turn. My 4 litter mates and I came to SBACC when we were about 5 weeks old. We all had ringworm and it took almost 3 months to clear it up. We spent the time in our own room in the isolation unit of SBACC and we got to cuddle and play with the employees who took care of us. We were all very friendly and loved attention and would come running to greet anyone who came to the door. Our favorite thing was playing with string toys and we all would chirp as soon as we saw someone ready to play with us with the mouse on the wire. We could jump really high to catch the mouse and looked like little acrobats. We were fine with being picked up and loved cuddles and sitting on shoulders. I overheard one of our caretakers say that we are perfect kittens !! We finally, finally, got a clean bill of health from the vet and we all got adopted. I had a great home with a Mom and Dad and dog for about a year and then everything went wrong. The dog went blind, Mom had twins and Dad was active military and Mom just couldn’t cope and brought me back to SBACC. It was a sad day for all of us. Despite all this, I am still a friendly, playful boy hoping to find another home real soon.
