SUMMARY:Bake Sale at the 70th Annual Fish Fry
DESCRIPTION:The 75th Annual Seal Beach Lions Community Fish Fry takes place on July 20 and 21st in Eisenhower Park by the Pier. The Seal Beach Animal Care Center will host a bake sale at the event – stop by for a sweet treat! No set prices\, donate what you can! \n  \nBands will play continuously on Saturday from 11-7 pm and Sunday from 11-6 pm. Besides the famous Lions Fish & Chips\, we will be serving Bratwurst and Cajun Sausage sandwiches along with Jumbo Hot Dogs. Ice cold Beer\, Wine and Wine-a-Ritas will be served from the beer garden.

SUMMARY:Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals
DESCRIPTION:The 24th running of the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals will be on Saturday\, July 20\, 2019\, with proceeds to benefit the Seal Beach Animal Care Center. Tickets can be purchased at the Care Center in advance of the event\, we will let you know when they are available. Children 17 and under are free. General parking is free. \nThe first Wienerschnitzel Wiener National race is set for 6:30 p.m. with the live horse-racing program to be held in conjunction with the dachshund races. The Wiener Nationals Championship race will be held at approximately 9:15 p.m. A total of 10 trial heats will be contested at 50 yards with the winning wieners advancing to the championship race. The participants were selected based on the creativity of their entries. \nTickets can be purchased on the day of the event on a first come first seat basis. We suggest fans arrive early on the day of the event. For safety reasons\, only dachshunds participating in the Wiener Nationals are allowed to come in to the racetrack. NO OTHER DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED. \nThe purpose of this fun event is to raise funds for the Seal Beach Animal Care Center.  Since 1996\, the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals has helped raise $275\,000 for the Care Center. Last year’s event raised $12\,000 through the sale of tickets and t-shirts.
