Hi, I’m Rae. My story is a sad one. I was recently rescued from the street after hanging around the same Seal Beach neighborhood for about two years. I was being fed but not really cared for and had numerous injuries over those years. One of those injuries was severe trauma to one of my eyes and I already had no vision in my other eye due to a cataract and glaucoma so now I am completely blind.  For a while, I had another cat as a buddy but he was chipped and returned to his family.  Strange thing is that I’m also chipped but the person my chip is registered to says she never had a cat. I’m finally safe at SBACC and might have to have one or both of my eyes removed. Despite all this, I’m a friendly gal who loves pets and attention.  It would be wonderful if I could spend the rest of my senior years with someone who would love and take care of me and give me a forever home.
