Hi, I’m Veeksha. When I was seven weeks old I was rescued from the 405 freeway by an SBACC employee. She was in bumper-to-bumper traffic when she saw me and it took two other people to help her catch me. I was covered in motor oil and scared to death. She brought me to SBACC and I was bathed and fed and given a nice soft bed. I felt so good and then it even got better because I went to a foster home where I got love and kisses all day long. My foster home had a golden retriever and two big cats. I think I liked the dog better than the cats but we probably just needed more time to get acquainted with each other. I love my ball feather toy, mouse on the wire, and shiny objects. I will roll over when I see you and will allow some pets but I am too busy playing to sit on a lap or be held. Of course, that will probably change as I get older. I am looking forward to finding my forever home and would be OK with it having a dog or maybe even a cat.
