Hi, I’m Arnie. I was rescued from the street when I was 5 weeks old. I was unsteady on my feet and wheezing when I arrived at SBACC. I was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CP)and that’s what makes me unsteady, and I was found to have some nasal deformities which cause my breathing problems. I went to a foster home where I got lots of TLC and had another kitten and some grown up cats to play with. My CP makes me a bit wobbly on my hind legs, but it doesn’t cause me any pain or stop me from getting around. I can climb and run and am really fast. I may slip, slide, or fall but I’m right back up again. I may make some funny sounds due to my nasal deformity and I have chronic respiratory issues but that doesn’t hold me back. My foster Mom says I’m a sweet, easy going, loving kitten and she fell in love with me and decided to keep me forever. I feel really lucky. I’m with my Mom in one of the pics.
