Dottie is on daily medication for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The medication is mixed into her wet food. She is also on a special diet for kidney disease.
Princess Dot did not have the easiest life; she originally came to the SBACC in 2014 at around two years old and had a badly injured leg that needed to be amputated. She had a loving home for seven years, but changes in the adopter’s circumstances meant she had to come back to us. She had Inflammatory Bowel Disease, arthritis in her hip where the amputation occurred, and was prone to urinary tract infections. We made the difficult decision to let her go in 2024 at 12 years old.
