Who is this darling little guy you ask? Well let us introduce you to BENJI!!! He is a sweet, 4 year old maltipoo who just wants to be your little shadow. One thing Benji just absolutely LOVES to do is go for long walks- he walks point and leads the way for all the other office dogs. He has made quite the transformation since coming to the shelter.
Benji is completely blind, but that does not stop him from living life one bit! He is the perfect passenger in the car. Place him in a small bed on the seat, and he just sits back and enjoys the ride. Benji also likes to play with other dogs, he is living with several other dogs currently in our office. Now he will be reserved at first with a change in environment, and potentially making new doggy friends. However, this kiddo evolves quickly, and once he is settled in he is quite the spunky little guy.
He will need an adopter who is committed to giving him his needed eye drops for the rest of his life. As well as be willing to take him to his ophthalmologist appointments as needed. Benji will also require a home with people home most of the day, or someone who would take him everywhere with them.
