We are the puppies of a Xoloitzcuintli, Mexican hairless dog (Xolo for short). Since the gene responsible for hairlessness is recessive (and we don’t know our dad), we were born with cute black and white fur. Our hairless mother was rescued from the desert near the border, while wondering pregnant, malnourished, and abandoned. She went to foster care and delivered 5 babies in a loving and supportive home, but only 3 of us survived. We are now 6 months old and looking for our forever homes – either together or separately
Daisy (female/spayed)
I am sweet and gentle girl, but get me excited and I will jump and give you kisses. I love belly rubs and I like to run around and play with my brother and sister. When I hear something I will bark and go check it out. If you raise your voice I will get scared and will lay upside down and put my arms up so don’t scare me.
David (male/neutered)
Hi, hello, I like to play, sleep, and take over my parents bed to sleep on their pillow. I will lay down like I work 12 hours that day and if you make some noise I will give you a side eye. I like to eat. When I’m outside I like to play with all the toys. Yeah my parents spoiled me. I also am quick to figure out what noise is coming from the outside. I enjoy running and playing, and when it’s time for naps I find the best spot, next to my human mother.
Dhalia (female/spayed)
Hello who can I come to and sit on their laps? I enjoy every spot next to you and especially on top of you. I love to lay on your lap and take a nap. I like being with my parents and lay and sleep on the bed with them. Next or between them is the best. I enjoy playing with toys so please get me a lot. I can chase the ball for hours. I like to figure out who’s outside the gate of the house. If I can get to the front, I will whine about it.
We all are looking for a sweet home that will love us as much as we are being loved now, as a fosters. We enjoy each other; so hopefully in the future, we can visit each other and have family reunions. Thank you for giving us a happy life. We are grateful to be born in capable hands of our foster parents, who rescued us all from life in the shelter. They are keeping our mom, but can’t keep us all.
