Hi, I’m Hazel. I delivered my four kittens in a woman’s yard. When they were two days old, the very kind woman scooped us up and brought us to SBACC. We all went to foster care. That same night, a friend of our foster Mom found two orphaned kittens, also two days old. She brought them to our foster Mom’s home, and I accepted them as if they were my own and went on to raise all six kittens. My foster Mom says she rarely heard my babies cry because I was always with them, taking only a few small breaks for myself. I met their every need and kept them fed, warm, and safe. They thrived and are now all ready for their forever homes. I love being petted, and I’ll purr and purr! I also love to be brushed, especially under my chin. My foster Mom says I’m gentle, sweet, and very loving. I worked very hard caring for my six kittens, and now it’s my turn to be loved and cared for in a home of my own. I know I will be a wonderful and affectionate companion.
