Hi, I’m Hershey. My brother, Huckleberry, and I were five weeks old when we were put in a box and left in the street. We were scared, full of fleas, and had eye infections. Luckily, we were rescued by a kind woman who brought us to SBACC. We then went to a foster home where we were bottle-fed until we could eat on our own. We got lots of TLC and had a couple of other kittens to play with in our foster home. I am a sweet, playful, friendly girl, and my foster Mom says I’m a purr machine. I like to be picked up and held, but not for too long, because I’d rather get down to play. I can be a little shy around strangers and may take a little time to warm up. I’m now ready for my forever home, and my foster Mom says I need to go with another kitten or young cat so that I will always have a playmate and cuddle buddy. Huckleberry has been adopted, but I’m still waiting!
