Milo is a one year old, Bernedoodle, who is at the shelter through no fault of his own. His previous family just didn’t have time for him, and probably didn’t full think it through before committing to a high energy puppy. According to the paperwork he came in with, he is a “Golden Mountain Doodle” – so a fancy way of saying adorable, high energy mutt who was bred as a “designer breed”. Backyard breeding at its finest.
This kiddo just needs a good outlet for his energy and a family that is able to spend time with him. He just adores being with people, everybody is his friend – even the staff at the vet!
Milo does great in the car, is an excellent walker, and knows some very basic commands. He does need a little bit of training to work on his manner and excitement – he is a jumper, but when worked with consistently he is a quick learner! This kid really just wants to be wherever you are, he loves to sit right against you and get belly rubs. He also loves other dogs, and will just play play play!
We’re sure he’ll get scooped up quickly, as he has a stunning smile and the sweetest personality. Our volunteers can’t believe anyone could ever let this boy go!
