Hi, I’m Nora. My five siblings and I were rescued from a kill shelter when we were four weeks old. We were sick and scared when we came to SBACC. I went to a foster home with Noble and Noel, and my three other brothers went to another foster home. We were treated for mange, respiratory and eye infections, and intestinal parasites, and given lots of good food, medicine, and TLC, and became happy, healthy kittens. My brothers, Noble and Noel, were ready for their forever home way before I was, and were adopted already. It took me a while longer to get big enough, but I’m finally ready. When I first got to my foster home, I hid under the bed, but one day I popped out and jumped on my foster Mom’s lap. I rested my head on her chest, and that was it; I was no longer scared. Once I felt better, I started to play. Hide-and-seek is one of my favorite games. I poke my head out, and when Mom came toward me, I would sprint away. Over the holidays, I took a road trip to Palm Springs with my foster family. Despite being in a carrier for over two hours, I was calm, relaxed and completely at ease. I settled right in when we got there and slept next to my foster Mom every night. I’m a very happy kitten. Everything is an adventure, and I love to explore new things. My foster Mom says I’m confident, secure, very easy going, and one of the most loving and affectionate kittens she has ever fostered. She calls me a dream kitten and says I will adjust to a new home quickly. I would love to have another kitten or young cat in my forever home.
