Meet Apollonia
Apollonia is a beautiful rescued tabby, approximately 3 years old, who has been living safely in foster care since January 2026. Originally part of a large outdoor colony, she has successfully transitioned to indoor life and is completely comfortable living indoors in her calm foster environment.
Apollonia is shy with human touch and does not currently seek out petting, but she is gentle, observant, food-motivated, and comfortable in her daily routine. She sleeps in her kitty bed, uses her litter box perfectly, enjoys her favorite toys, and appreciates the safety and predictability of indoor living.
She is currently fostered with Spotty, who was once the alpha cat of their colony. They get along beautifully and often provide companionship for one another. While they can be adopted separately, it would be wonderful if they could find a home together.
One of Apollonia’s greatest qualities is her quiet, easy-going nature. She is not destructive, demanding, or high-maintenance. Instead, she is content to observe, play, relax, and simply coexist with the people around her while continuing to build trust at her own pace.
Apollonia would do best with a patient adopter who understands that every rescued cat has a unique journey. She may never be a lap cat, or she may surprise everyone as her confidence grows. What matters most is finding someone who will appreciate her for who she is today and allow her to continue blossoming.
Apollonia’s ideal home:
• Calm, patient, and indoor-only
• Experienced with shy or rescued cats
• Open to letting trust develop naturally
• Possibly with Spotty, though not required
• Willing to celebrate small milestones and progress
