Hi, I’m Khaleesi. I was rescued from the street when I was about six weeks old. I was brought to SBACC, and the first thing noticed was that my hind legs were unstable and didn’t work properly. X-rays didn’t show anything abnormal, so I was checked out by a neurologist who thought I might have a spinal injury, maybe a fracture that has healed and is causing some nerve compression. I walk kind of funny, and my hind legs will sometimes collapse under me, but it doesn’t stop me from running around, climbing, and playing like any other kitten. I can even climb to the top of a tall cat tree. My foster home had two young children and a cat, and I played with all of them. I love to play with balls and springs, and I played fetch with the kids. I also slept with them or with my foster Mom. I purr when you pet me and am a loving and affectionate kitten. I’m hoping to find a forever home with another cat or kitten, and I would be fine with children too. I’m with my roommate, Waluigi, in one pic.
