Hi, I’m Verbane, but my foster Mom called me Vinny. I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter when I was about seven weeks old. After coming to SBACC, I went to a foster home. My foster Mom says I’m a very sweet kitten and, despite some visual impairment, I’m all kitten and very eager to play! I love my kitty tunnel, spring toys, crunchy toys, a good ol’ Amazon box with the shipping paper inside, and especially my cat scratch post and my window perch! I managed to navigate my whole foster home within just a few hours of arriving. I can use my litter box without issue and find my food and water. My foster mom kept everything in the same place to make it easier for me to find my litter box and my food and water bowl. I loved the water fountain! I also love toys on a string! And when I get tuckered out from playing, I enjoy a good snuggle on someone’s chest or lap. I got along well with the bigger cats in my foster home, and with their small dog. I can jump up on the couch and beds and found a way down by scooting backward, feet first. My foster Mom says I’m really smart! She set up a few “step stools,” so I could get up and down from my favorite cat-scratcher perch and window perch. She also started training me to walk in a harness in their enclosed back patio, and I did well. I love Greenie treats and my dry food, but my foster Mom kept giving me wet food, which I might eat if it’s in gravy. I’m hoping for a forever home where I will get lots of attention, and I would be happy to share it with other kittens or adult cats, children, and perhaps a small dog. BTW, I’ve seen the eye specaialist and she says my visual impairment appears to be congenital and not due to trauma or infection.
