Who is this handsome boy?? Meet KODA, he is around 2 years old and the total husky package! He can’t wait for his next adventure…finding a home. Could that be with you?
Koda is very social with other large dogs, and also does really well with kids!! He has not been around small dogs that we are aware of, and with his size and play style, he would do best with other medium to large dogs.
This guy is about as sweet as he is handsome. The volunteers are quite smitten with him already. He loves to play, and remains fairly gentle when he is playing with people. Koda is nowhere near the worst puller we have ever had on leash, but he is still working on his leash manners. We know he will have those down in no time with some more practice.
We can’t believe somebody let this kiddo go! As far as huskies go, he is pretty perfect, you just have to love those husky personalities! For an experienced husky owner, he should be a breeze. Koda was found out, wondering by himself on some hiking trails. He followed some people all the way back to their cars and just hopped right in like he had known them for years. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get ahold of anybody from his microchip, but they decided to foster him and help him find a new home. They had him for a few months, and a spot opened up here at the shelter for him, so they brought him in so we could take over in finding him a home of his own. Koda was very loved while in his foster home, and lived with two other dogs and did fantastic with their grandchildren.
Whoever brings this goofy, lovebug home will be one lucky adopter – we can’t wait to see him thrive once he finds his match!
