Blackie has lead an interesting life before finding his way to SBACC. His original family moved and just left him behind. He had to fend for himself, and took up in a tree stump for shelter, where he called home for 2 years. Eventually one of the neighbors earned his trust enough to convince him to come live with her and her dog.
A couple years went by, and then they became homeless. Unfortunately his new mom could no longer care for him, because she needed medical attention. So then he found his way to us, and became one of our office dogs.
Blackie is shy at first, and can take a few visits before he starts to warm up. However, Blackie LOVES to go for walks, LOVES car rides, and LOVES his toys!! Blackie has an amazing personality once he warms up, hopefully someone will be able to see past his shyness because he will make a great life partner.
