The sweetest little duo you will ever meet! Let us introduce you to Katniss and Peeta. They are a bonded pair and where one goes, the other one follows. Both pups adore people and have been very well cared for. They came in through no fault of their own so we are hoping someone falls in love with them quick so they can get out of the shelter!
Katniss is a very spunky 9 year old. She loves to play ball and go out and explore on walks. Her adorable grey muzzle is truly the only indication of her age. Peeta is more mellow than his sister, and he is 4 years old. He loves to walk and loves to sit up next to you and get some rubs. Now Katniss does try to butt in for attention, but little Peeta patiently waits for his turn.
Their previous owner stated that they both adore children. Katniss loves to play fetch with them, is very good about bringing the ball or stick back to them to throw for her. They walk well on leash, but will try to chase a squirrel here and there.
These two seem like the perfect family dogs! They have only been with us a short time, and they are already volunteer favorites. Walking up to their smiling, excited faces just fill you with so much joy. We know these two will just make your home complete. Won’t you come down and meet them??
