Hi, I’m Iggy.   My brother, Ice-T, and I were rescued from the street when we were about three months old. We were in terrible shape.  Besides being very dirty and full of fleas, I had an injured and infected foot and a cloudy eye.  My brother had a severely infected eye that couldn’t be saved.  I had surgery to amputate my leg and he had surgery to remove his eye and now we’re both doing just fine.  I went to an eye specialist who said my cloudy eye is called symblepharon  (bet you can’t pronounce that)  which is something that results from trauma or infection.  There’s nothing that can be done to treat it and it’s not expected to get either better or worse.  I do have some vision in that eye but it’s hazy.  So my brother and I each have one good eye.  Missing one leg and having one eye doesn’t really slow us down and we can run and jump and play like any other cat.  We’re both a little shy when we first meet new people but friendly once we have a little time to warm up.  We were adopted together by a wonderful couple who had a senior cat who just wouldn’t accept us so after six weeks we came back to SBACC.  We loved them and they loved us and we were all very sad.  Ice-T and I have been through a lot together and really love each other so we are hoping to find another home together.  We’re together in two of the pics.
