Hi, I’m Veruca. I was rescued from a Seal Beach Park when I was just five weeks old. I was dirty, full of fleas, very hungry, and really scared. I came to SBACC where I was cleaned up and then I went to a foster home where I got lots of TLC and good food. I’m still shy with people I don’t know and need some time to warm up to them. I loved getting attention and belly rubs from my foster Mom. I’m OK with being picked up and held and cuddled but not for very long because I’d rather be playing. There were cats and dogs in my foster home and I enjoyed their company and played with the cats and the small dog. I have lots of energy, am very active, and love to play. I would do best with a quiet home without small noisy children but would be fine with another kitten or cat or small dog. I think I would also be fine as an only cat if I have a Mom or Dad who is home most of the time and has lots of time to play with me.
