Hi, I’m Zoey. I was four weeks old when I was rescued from a car engine. I seemed to have an injured eye and a burn on the side of my face. After coming to SBACC I went to a foster home where I was all fixed up and got lots of TLC and good food. All seemed to be well until it was discovered that I had ringworm. I couldn’t stay in my foster home and had to go back to SBACC but fortunately for me, there was another kitten about my age who also had ringworm and we became roommates while we were being treated. I had to stay at the shelter for what seemed like forever being treated with meds and special baths. Actually, it was about six weeks. Several times a week one of the most wonderful volunteers would suit up and come play with us and let us cuddle with her and sit on her lap. It was heaven because it was just me and Kokomo most of the time except when we were fed and medicated and bathed. I’m a super affectionate and confident kitten and love to be picked up and carried around. I will sit in your lap and purr up a storm. My favorite toy is the mouse on the wire. Kokomo and I are both finally cured of ringworm and are now ready for our forever homes. It would be great if we could go home together but I think I will be fine as an only kitten as long as I get lots of attention. I’m with Kokomo in one of the pics.
