This sweet, senior girl came to us through no fault of her own. Her owner needed to go into assisted living, and she had nowhere else to go. MacKenzie came in a bit portly, so we affectionately call her “Big Mak”. She LOVES to walk, and is already has her figure back. Mak is so spunky, it’s hard to believe that she is 13 years old! She loves other dogs, and has loved every person she has met here at the shelter. Mak rolls over for belly rubs and gets playful and goofy. She would do well living with other dogs, and would love to find a playmate. Big Mak does have cushing’s, but it is being managed currently with only one pill a day! She is a treasure, and deserves to live out the rest of her golden years in a loving home.
