Hi, I’m Maisie, a senior kitty who was found wandering around Leisure World. I think I may have had a home there and I have no idea what happened or why I was out on the street. I came to SBACC where it was discovered that I was not in the best of health. I have kidney disease, arthritis, and a heart murmur. A special diet and daily fluid injections are helping with my kidney disease and I am getting some pain medication for my arthritis. I am now feeling so much better and have become friends with some of the volunteers. I can be talkative and one of my favorites things is looking out windows and watching what is going on. A cat tree by a window would make me very happy. I enjoy the company of people but am not at all a fan of other cats so I am hoping for a home where I can be an only cat and can be loved and pampered for the rest of my senior years.
