It was a short time we knew Marigold, but enough to fall head over heels. We are very sad to let you know that less than a month of Marigold coming to us, we had to let her go due to health issues and difficulty breathing. Here is a eulogy one our volunteers wrote for Marigold …🧡💔
Rescued from a parking lot, sweet Marigold reflected the flower for which she was named – a sweet beauty with a heart of gold. Marigold, with her big soulful eyes, gave us all the gift of her affection and love in the brief time we had her. Her last days were spent in the comfort of a warm bed and the companionship of the other “littles”. They were spent being talked to, cuddled, stroked and soothed. She enjoyed good food and treats. We can only try to comfort ourselves knowing she felt secure and embraced in the care of the office volunteers. Whatever her life was like before, the end was filled with love. Farewell little girl.

Marigold is a sweet senior gal who was left in our office while her finder drove away. She was quite a mess on the outside (see before photo), but on the inside she was pure sweetness. We don’t know her past life, other than clearly being neglected, but we know now she is safe with us and getting the medical attention she needs and all the love she can get! Marigold is living with her friends in the office since she a senior gal. She sleeps most of the day, but definitely perks up when she sees a leash! Marigold enjoys very leisurely walks at her own pace and sniffing all the new smells. Are you look for a mellow senior? It would be great for Marigold to live out her senior years being treated like a queen!
