Hi, I’m Mia. I was roaming the streets and taken in by an older couple, but they had serious health issues and couldn’t keep me. Their daughter, who is blind, couldn’t take care of me either, so she brought me to SBACC. I was limping, and when the vet checked me out, it was discovered that I had a luxated hip and ruptured cruciate ligament and needed surgery. I am still recovering from my surgery and need physical therapy, but despite all this, my foster Mom says I have a bunch of personality! I’m also very brave and adjust quickly to new situations and people. My favorite things are playing in tunnels, catching wand toys, and napping on laps. I’m the luckiest kitty, because my foster Mom decided to adopt me and love me forever!
