Now who is this adorable little meatball?? Meet ATHENA, she is a 4 year old bulldog and just as cute as can be. She is a petite girl with a big personality, and keeps us laughing all day long.
Athena was taken in by good samaritans after they witnessed her being thrown from a car. They got her all patched up, but weren’t in a position where they could keep her. Even though they had fallen in love with her immediately.
We are hoping for a bulldog experienced home, who understands the amount of care that goes into a breed like this! As Athena does have some ongoing medical needs, she is on a medication and food regimen where she is stable.
Over the last year she had knee surgery on both sides, it was an intense recovery for our girl and she was nothing but patient through it all. Now that she is healed up and getting stronger, she is so ready for a home of her own!
She will be your little shadow, and a big source of entertainment with her goofy personality. Athena LOVES who she loves! She also loves to play with toys, both harder toys meant for chewing and soft squeaky ones. Athena is the best passenger in the car, and would love to go everywhere with you!
Athena does need to be the only pet in an adult only home.
