Tommy is a 6 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix that LOVES playing with his tiny tennis balls. He has his favorite volunteers, and when he sees them he just lights up with excitement! This guy loves the car, and loves exploring new places. He is quite the little adventurer.
Tommy has a very sweet side, but he also has a bit of a spicy side. We think his issue is guarding of his area, a.k.a. his kennel here at the shelter. He does well with training, and needs someone that is going to hold him accountable. Otherwise he will take full advantage and be a little stinker.
He would likely need multiple visits to make friends with you enough to go home. Tommy would likely do well with another dog in the home, and would do best in an adult only home.
